I love/hate snow days

I love/hate snow days. It's great to be able to stay at home and out of the commute with all those traffic accidents. But on the other hand, people who go out to work and take a snow day don't have to work at all that day. Like the school teachers who live in my neighborhood. They and their kids sleep in and then go the mall for hours on snow days. Me? I just sleep in and then do a little less work than usual :-)

  1. In my county, we either find a way to go in or take a sick day. There is never a snow day that the district deems bad enough for teachers to just get off.
